This is the third picture of a mini series shot at Ingleton Waterfalls, North Yorkshire, two weeks ago and is the Tripple Spout of Beezley Falls on the River Doe.
The famous Waterfalls Trail has some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in the North of England. The trail is 4.5 miles/8 kilometres through ancient oak woodland and magnificent Dales scenery via a series of spectacular waterfalls and geological features.
With rare and interesting plants and animals and its importance as a geological site much of the Waterfalls Trail has been designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) by Natural England.
This long exposure capture was also taken using a neautral density filter, polariser and tripod. Due to the very strong sunlight I have blended five differently exposed images from the same RAW file to try to show how this would look to the eye if you were there in person to see this. I have also boosted the colours and saturation a little as well as a slight alteration of levels and dodge and burn in photoshop. The colours in the water are natural caused by the high mineral content.
Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued!
Carl.
