On the road to the Acoma Indian Reservation in New Mexico you first pass through the Laguna Reservation where there are amazing mesa formations. This is the last landscape photo in this Western series.

I am thinking of heading out to New Mexico and Arizona in the spring or fall. I have never been to the Grand Canyon. Your series just adds fuel to the fire:)

outstanding shot. N.M. has so many mesas and in Farmington their airport sets on top of a meas. if the jets/planes can not stop they are in for bad drop

Fantastic capture! I remember seeing these mesas, along with a lot of other fascinating scenery on a family road-trip vacation in 1979. Thanks for bringing back a lot of good memories from childhood and that youthful sense of discovery. Again, a very nice photo filled with drama.
