Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Best of luck to you, Mike! I've never smoked, but have had many friends and family members struggle with it - and I know it's not easy. Having support from friends and family hopefully will make it easier. That and creating art! ;-D

Congratulations, Mike. As one who quit, cold turkey, one year, 2 months ago, I can vouch for the 'work in progress' part. Though it gets so much easier after the first year. I hardly think about it anymore! Excellent work!

Congrads Mike! I went cold Turky In 1995 May and never looked back! It will be rough and even after 4 years when I would get coffee I would instinctively reach for a smoke...I have been smoke free ever since and counting so it can be done and really to quit is a determination! It say's I am in control of my life and I have selfcontrol! Focus on the fact that you do not need it and then put your intentions into activity! My very Best Wishes to you!

Nice image - I haven't smoked a cigarette for some thirty years; I changed to a pipe, but I chucked that away twenty years ago.

Yea for you, I know you'll be successfully and then you won't get Copd, and be on Oxygen, no fun.

Endeavor to persevere. I agree with Mikeerson, Think I Stopped instead of I Quit. Pour your time and money into what interests you. Keep your hands and mind busy. LOL my mind has been a little too busy..............
