Description

(this goes with the bug comic too, in spite of the "fantasy" category). This is actually destined to be stuck to the wall of Bryan's rented place in Newton--he had this as a poster in his University apartment, but when his sister Vanessa redecorated the (very nice) apartment (Bryan got it as part of winning the Allen prize for his work with rove beetles)she said it had to go. She did his apartment because left to himself, "there would be a just a bed, some crates, an Alison Mayhem poster, a Horde of Bats poster, that drippy angel poster and his books and music disk collection all over the floor." Which wasn't entirely fair--Bryan would of course have his desk, his chair, some pots and pans, the fish tank and a board and cinder-block bookcase. Now his University apartment looks very elegant-- and has a house sitter named Patrick living in it. Patrick is a lovely person and a complete nitwit. Anyway, Bryan rescued the angel poster and packed it carefully. It has two of his favorite things on it; an angel and butterflies. Butterflies are what got him interested in entomology in the first place. How something that looks like a worm can turn into a butterfly seems like a miracle to him still. Butterflies, hair, crown and some of the details of the Purple Esmeralda are painted.(I curled up all the "thorns" and knocked off the high heeled shoes) SaintFox and Digital Lion's Isadora Cape (from Soft Sheets3, is *perfect* for anything with wings--it loops down low enough to leave room for them!
