Description

(More bug comic;) Here is Bryan's House sitter, Patrick. While Bryan studies little bugs in Newfin or Newland or whatever that little town is called, (Patrick can't remember), Patrick makes sure that the plants on the upstairs deck are watered. And this made him think of the Best Party Idea Ever. He's taken out Bryan's mattress and shoved it in a closet, lined the bed frame with a plastic bed liner liberated from the Botanical Gardens next door, and he's going to make a Pond, complete with Botanical Garden water lilies and floating candles (which I think will not go well with the plastic liner) He's invited 20 of his closest friends from the School of Music and Drama, he's got a caterer, (who can't read his writing, so they are making stuff for a "kids party" instead of a "cast party") and his only disappointment is that Bryan can't come, though Patrick sent him an invitation (addressed to "Bryan in Newfin"). Patrick knows this party will be legendary, and he's right. It's a good thing the bedroom is over a small empty parking garage. The wire hanging down over the vase is where the Alison Mayhem poster was: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1969786 (Patrick hated that poster, despite his crazy hair, he actually is a very talented opera/classical singer) and next to the vase is last month's very old water bill..or rather the second notice of the water bill. Patrick took a copy to Mrs. Kim where she works in the Law Library, because it had to be wrong--it had too many zeroes. This is why Mrs. Kim called Bryan (you can see the note on the chalkboard in A.M. Donuts) A.M. Donuts href> Mrs. Kim thinks Bryan should release Patrick back into the wild, but Bryan said that Patrick just couldn't live unassisted;) He's right, of course. Patrick is unusual for a mer in that he looks Irish, not Asian. He's got the ears, though! ________________________ Bryan's fancy apartment is made up of Mapp's Walls Abound. I hadn't realized the set included a whole bunch of Rice Paper Walls, not just the cherry set! The matching side table is from Richabri's Family Room, and the bed started out as a freebie from Cin, the Temple--I just retextured it. Parts of the city in back are from Predatron's City blocks from Daz, and some clip art and painting. I think Patrick's texture is Mario from Daz as well.

Curiouser and curiouser. This tale just gets stranger by the day. Someone has a remarkable imagination that's for sure. I could never dream up all the little tidbits you are throwing in. This is surely on the way to being an epic novel!!

I think there was a disclamer someplace that stated only about 20% of the wall options were used in the room layouts :-) hugs Mike

Soooo crazy, wow, your imagination is running wild at the moment. What a story!! But the pond is, of course, a modern classic, very believable and it reminds me on how add some more fun to the next party!! Okay, instead of water and flowers I prefer hot chocolate with little dots of whipped cream - but beside of this: A classic!!

Yes, that is definitely a literal version of a waterbed! Can't blame him for his vision! :o) Great scene!

I love it! interesting that you noted that this bedroom was above an empty parking garage.... a bit of foreshadowing perhaps?

Ok, I am a bad person. When I first looked at this (before reading it) I had some very... interesting thoughts... shame on me. In any case, great pic. Love the story - so creative. That is a cool idea of his - making an indoor water pond. Just need to add the water lilies. Ok, just wait til one of the guests gets plastered and decides it would be fun to dive into the pond. Bad idea. Ok, I'm having bad thoughts again. Anyway, love your detail, love his way cool shirt and love your unique tales. Very fun! :)

When I first view this I though the character was fill a water tub with the cover on., but then I read the story, my bad. I guess he is a little old to go Bobbibg for apples...Course there is always bobbibg for Jello-shots.

You see I knew it. I saw this guy and made a snap judgement...not someone I would trust as a house sitter. Then I saw him putting water in the hot tub and thought, well maybe he's not so bad. He's making sure everything is in order. Then I read the story and realized my first thought was correct. This is exactly the kind of guy that would make a pond out of someone's BED!!! LOL Excellent image Lynn. I really like the lighting on Patrick.

Personally Patrick would die a slow and painful death if he filled my bed with water, with or without the mattress. lol great scene. But I am thinking Mrs Kim is correct...back to the wild and if he needs asisting, put a bowl of water and a some food out for him. Wonderfully lighting and composition
