Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

They are rather intriguing, aren't they? I like this, with all the water cascading down the surface. Nicely done!

Oh, I have seen them - It is right by the bean! I must scratch around in my Chicago pics - I might find an image with the projection on one of them! Pretty neat! I love your POV though Marilyn! Just wonderful! :)

Great day in the mornin', what the????? Interesting effects depicted in what looks like a postwork-inverted monolith of solid bricks awash in pouring water, Maz!

Interesting image, nice brick work fountain with the water running down the sides. Just wondering how high was this thing? Nice capture Marilyn..

It's the Crown Fountain at Milleneum Park. Great memories! Thank you! :)

Millenium Park has some cool stuff in it, despite the fact that a part of it looks as if an aluminum can exploded! Having said that, I actually like the exploded aluminum can and the giant, metallic bean...er, I mean Cloud Gate...but hey, this is Chicago, it's a bean, according to local aesthetic tastes. These lit fountains are interesting...usually they just change colors, but they do project different images from cameras around the park, I think. It's wonderful and I love this particular "cryptic" shot of it. Great!

I see faces in there.... Interesting capture. Aloha

It is very cool. I have never seen the fountains and I am not sure they intended them to be a visual of what you see is not necessarily what you get. This is a great shot and I love the angle.
