Description

Image taken in Namibia in March 2009. After the fishing was done for the day, the leftover bait would be fed to the gulls who would slowly gather as the afternoon gets on. For this image my brother threw the bait up into the air and I snapped away happily! Not the sharpest of focus on the birds but I kind of like the sense of movement. They became vicious in their fight for a couple of fish heads!!! Really greedy little suckers! Thank you for visiting and for your comments and favs on the Impalas I have uploaded yesterday! You are right - there really is a fantastic sense of movement in this shot. I get the feeling that they could spring back to life at any moment and continue swooping around the image!
