My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great work. You must have used most of the tools on this 2D project. As for the snakes...not for me:)

Fantastic work! WOW! I really like the fact that there are other ophidiophiles in the world. I love snakes as well, and would keep the non-venomous ones as pets. The green beauties, are they mambas? I am just curious because they have that mamba-ish look to them. I also find myself trying to read the text and count the layers, and everything else in this image. I love it.

love the way they twist and turn !!

Oh Tara, as I told you over the weekend when you shared this image with me - it is most wonderful! You did an excellent job with the manipulation and created a very special piece of art! Although I am not particularly fond of poisonous (and deadly in some of these cases) snakes, this is most pleasing! :)

....on a plane! Nice work :)

Wonderful image, Tara! What's amusing is that I just got finished looking at Mrslubner's upload, 'Strike one' regarding her rattler.

I didn't think I liked snakes till I saw this. There are so many layers and pieces of beauty in this image,I hardly know where to look first. This is simply stunning--I love it.

Very creative, well done. While working in Florida some co-workers and I visited a reptile farm. One of the employees gave a presentation on snakes with live examples. When he asked if anyone would like to come up and touch them all of the manly macho men held back. One co-worker, a woman in her twenties, rushed up to pick up a handful of snakes. It was quite a sight to see her surrounded by the grade school children who also couldn't wait to grab a snake.

WOW ! An awesome image Tara :-))) I like snakes too, but only the harmless snakes I am glad to see the pretty, smiling face in the middle :-))

A very complex, curious and quirky piece of work, Tara! I find myself ferreting out meanings and codes, or attempting to, as well as admiring your incredible PS skills. I love most animals, including snakes, but I would never keep any exotics as pets: Byron my Amazon parrot doesn't count as an exotic as he was hatched only 5 miles down the road! I particularly like the 2 on the right one could use as bodkins!

Well done on your work here - the large heart created symbolises your appreciation of them. I respect them – close calls with a Rinkhals and a Cape Cobra have taught me that they are as weary of us as we are of them! Cheers, Clive

great art work!!!!

Love your image and the snake heart image lower left. Snakes are OK but not pets as far as I’m concerned. South Florida is having an explosion of Boas and Pythons, that were bought as pets and when they are big enough, to start eying the cat or dog, are let loose in the local swamp. Some are now 20 feet and moving into neighborhoods looking for food. Dana

I think snakes are fascinating. The few times I've had the opportunity, I've enjoyed handling the nonpoisonous ones. I'd just as soon not meet up with them not chaperoned as I'm not knowledgeable enough to know poisonous from not. As a child in south Louisiana, whenever my sister and I walked on the undeveloped area near our house, we would talk to the snakes. "Hey snakes. Don't mind us snakes. Just two little girls minding their own business, snakes." Excellent image! Very nice design and execution!
