My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Wonderful detail makes you wonder who built it and what made them pop it on the corner.

chicago has a few things in common with my town. We have these wonderful oddities too mixed in with all the modern glass and steel. Great shot.

I have always admired turret rooms. Wonderful details and stained glass. Looks like this has two stories. Great find, capture and share. Dana

WOW! We have those here? Duh! I pass stuff like this every day, and they always remind me of something Victorian...I don't know why, or even if that's accurate, but there you have it. I love the details on this, and the greatest thing is when I look at your Chicago shots, I am always driven to try and find those places. The light is perfect and the details stand out wonderfully! I love this piece!
