Description

Ahhhhh ... all done! Hardware on, bathroom door re-hung, all the lovely little details in place. Oh ... and there's a dehumidifier, but it's built in under the sink and plumbed to the drain. I never have to empty it! Nice touch, huh? At this point (4th of July weekend) I hadn't bought all the new little decorator stuff ... towels, soap dispenser, trash can, etc, but the remodel was done! Of course all the things I want to show you about my new bathroom are the details I enjoy so much. The way the toilet tank lid looks next to the bead board, the way all the handles and knobs and towel hooks are porcelain and chrome, the beautiful job Trent did on the floor. And I have what's called a hotel shower curtain rod. It's curved, which creates loads of elbow room in the shower. Life is good! I am WAY happy with my bathroom! :D ZOOM for details

It's quite a man's bathroom. I don't mean any offense, just that I don't really like bathrooms that are all pink, with silly little soaps and floral this and thats...but I like yours!

WOW! Bathrooms are such interesting places! They're the most important room in any home, and I love all of the details you've shown us here. Fantastic. I love the fact that you've photographed and chronicled it. I love the lighting too, so many details come out with the right light, and well...this is the right light.

Attention to detail...makes the room. No wonder you got used to numerous trips to your favorite "big-box" home improvement stores. The guys did the work but you must have been the designer.

Very nice! I love all the details. You made beautiful choices and they did a great job! I don't understand why anyone would have blocked off part of the window. It is much nicer this way.

I love the detail he put into the floor. That is just too col. The dehumidifier being tied into the drain is awesome too. Those things get heavy when they are full. Awesome shots and your bathroom looks great.
