Believed to have tenuous connections to the Royal House of Moldavia, JakiBlue* was raised by a group of intelligent hairless chimpanzees in the heart of the Amazon forest, only being discovered one day in her sixteenth year by the famous explorer, Captain R. Burroughs.
Unleashed upon the civilized world by Captain Burroughs, JakiBlue turned her considerable talents to writing, and her debut book 326 Things to do with a Stuffed and Mounted Michael Flately spent 36 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List.
A further six books also spent time there, although sadly, her non-fiction book Supermodels Can Act! didn't enjoy much success. Due mainly to the fact that the buying public believed it to be a work of fiction.
It was during this time, that tragedy struck. Bad book sales sent her into a spiral of depression, and it wasn't long before her addiction to '80's Teen Idol, Joey Lawrence, became common knowledge to her adoptive family and friends.
Pushing aside their horror, they sent her to the successful 'Really Bad '80's Teen Idols Addiction Clinic' where amongst the sad tales of Corey Feldman, Adam Ant, Jason Priestly and Michael J Fox addictions, she battled her demons and finally emerged, triumphant.
Part of her therapy included making intimate adult toys with Lego®, a hobby that she has translated into a world-wide successful business.
JakiBlue is currently working on her autobiography of her time among the apes, tentatively called Life with Danny Bonaduce.

it's funny, i'm in pretty much the same boat, slowly tiptoeing around in vue while studio sleeps! baby steps. i have to say, though, this is a pretty darn good start! simple yet powerful. and an excellent title.

So what makes Vue different? Are you still able to use your Daz Library? And the title fits this image so well! Love the water and the clouds! Roni

My dear, you are really on to something. You are obviously wired for Vue. This is a fantastic start. I can see why you're so enthused about your new program.

I really like this one. It's surreal and cool. Love the water. Beautiful colors. A nice 'first'. :) Keep practicing - in no time you'll be a pro.

Very good light and scene.

You're Vue-ing!!! Awesome! I want to Vue when I should be working in studio lately too. Some constructive crit: If you use one of the meta water materials, you can get some coastal and wave foam - might look nice. Also right click on your water plane and edit object - then select 'displacement' and play with your wave settings. Might also look cool for this type of scene. For 'hero' trees (close to the camera like this) right click and edit object to go to the plant editor. Up the poly-count on the tree for a smoother tree. Looks great - love the camera angle and wide FOV, composition color and theme. I also really love the little 'jakiblue' tag.

I'd say not too bad a start...the image looks very nice! Wish I could afford Vue...maybe someday. Good luck learning it and I will be watching as you progress in your learning process. :)
