Description
This is where the water from the underground caverns gushes out the side of the mountain, about 20 miles north of Mountain View, Arkansas. A view to behold.
Julia and I paid a visit there last Saturday evening, right after sunset. Being on the dark side of the mountain, it got extremely dark very quickly. But the time of day allowed the overused but still pleasant effect of silky water via time extended exposure.
This one is a 13 second exposure, ISO 100, f/5, with a focal length of 35mm.
If you like this there are a couple more from our same shoot here on Renderosity. My previous post is a shot a little bit farther down the creek and in Julia's gallery there's another angle of Blanchard Springs.
Thanks for stopping by!

Another very beautiful image of an intriguing place. Thank you very much for sharing your camera settings with us. This is a technique I admire but have not yet gotten the hang of it.

Lovely and the effect on the water is very cotton-like and something I would expect to see in a painting.
