Description

On the western side of Point Loma, opposite the Cabrillo Monument, sandstone cliffs and tidepools abound. This is a view of the tidepool area with a little of the interesting erosion patterns of the sandstone cliffs thrown in. As you can see the area is very popular on warm, sunny days when the low tides reveals dozens of tide pools to explore. Enjoy.

A beautiful view, although the colors seem a bit rich. Might be the time of day that does that. It sure is a popular place and your photo shows why...all those great "steps" and pools!
