Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

None of you look worse for wear:) Now we know who's who...great introduction. Eddie really works you out...bet it is addictive too! Love your detailed list of activities. Remember, BIFF, BAM, POW, THUD, THUMP?

Eddie looks like he's in shape but I bet you and Caron make him work for his paycheck.

Gosh, Marilyn, I do admire you, no wonder you look so good! He's quite a cutie, even if he has a sadistic streak! and Caron as we already know is in GREAT shape!

You take your camera and tripod to gym... I barely get my own backside dragged there... LOL... Cool pic of you guys with the rather cute sadist! :)))

I give you guys a lot of credit to be enrolled in the martial arts. I do hit the bag every once in a while but seems like I need some protective equipment when the bag bounces back at me, lol. Tough looking dude....and of course sweet looking gals. Hi Caron.... Fun capture of the good times. Aloha

Sterling capture of the three of you, flexing your muscles for the camera! You're on your agonizing way to becoming a lean, mean, fighting machine, Maz!!! And, you like buildings, so please check out "Mirrored building #1" in my today's posting.

I like this so much. I recognize your smile, but I can't see if you're wearing green flip flops. I can't see green flip flops without thinking of you! But ah, I recognize the smile! And yeah, this is a rockin' great photo. I remember the ones you took in Chicago, where you set the timer and did a couple of test shots first and I can so totally see you doing that here--which would make this shot number three, while you fiddled and found the right position. Great work, and I love the mood of it. Plus you're in it, with that bright smile you always get! I love it!

Hey Eddie, treat these ladies right or you could get hurt. Nice to "see" Caron again - as he blushes. :>) Dana

Great capture of the three of you.. a glutton for punishment it seems lol..

I used to box a bit, and those gloves don't feel as soft when they are attached to someone else and coming straight for your nose! My thing is the speed ball...I love the repetition of it. I wouldn't want to run into the three of you in a dark alley!

lovely shot you set up here, and you & caron look wonderfully happy (and strong), and Eddie looks like a very strong & very kind soul, and I'm so glad you made this connection with such a fine & caring teacher & friend. A fine shot, and it's clear he likes his students a great deal. Also, the whole kickboxing thing is amazing, because if I kicked once, I'd be in bed for a day. Keep it up, you're fit as can be, lifting flagstone should be a breeze for you these days! It's wonderful that you shared this with us, a very warm & caring capture. Hey Eddie, you teach finger boxing? I got a killer index finger just dyin' to knock over one of those bags...
CoreyBlack
Kickboxing? WOW! I'm like Mark...if I kicked, something would pop out of whack with a really loud crackling noise and I'd be in bed for month. I could manage index finger boxing though, so I'm with Mark on that one. This picture is very warm and very spontaneous. Great work!
