Description
This finch is seen looking at the empty suet slot. Some sly thief made off with the entire block of suet during the night or early morning. Note the bottom bar is even pulled off, leading me to think a squirrel or maybe a racoon got it.
This was a quick point and shoot operation on Nov 16, 2009.

well you weren't kidding about the snow.. it was 34 degrees here this morning but is warming up nicely in the afternoons still, in fact up to 59 right now not too bad for this time of year. I hope all your birdies there keep warm.. :)

So there is a thief in the neighbourhood, poor Birdie.. Nice shot well done.. I'm glad to say where I live we don't get snow frosts are bad enough..
