I first discovered photography at the age of 8or 9 when i was given an old box brownie and after a couple of years I progressed to a Kodak folding camera I remember it took a size 127 film.
My father built me a dark room in the loft and I spent many hours learning about processing and printing my films, both black and white and colour. when marrige and family came along time for the processing side of photography had to take a back seat.  After 50 years working we retired to Chard in Somerset southwest England (we think it could be the best part of the world). About 3 years ago we got into digital photography , recently my son Ian who has a site on renderosity (iambrose) talked me into joining, I am so glad he did as it's so nice to read the comments and see how other people view your pictures.Â

Amazing. It looks like the set from movie! Hard for us in the new world to image that such ancient castles really exist in the real world. Beautiful architecture and a wonderful shot.

That is huge! The townspeople must have felt like ants, living in the shadow of that! Was there construction going on at the top? The thought of working up there sends my heart down into my toes. Beautiful image! I would love to visit there! Thanks!
