Description

Captured 6/28/09, at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden on the beautiful campus of California State University Long Beach in beautiful Long Beach, California. A ZOOM will exponentially increase your viewing pleasure. The cool clear water adds another dimension when photographing these pretty fishies. Not much of a variety of colors on the koi so far, but the disparate textures should really come to the fore as the population increases following the crippling Koi Herpes Virus disaster. Ta-ta, and thankx for the visit.

These fish are so cool looking...seem to have a little more grace when gliding through the water. Excellent collage of Koi my friend!:-)

A winner Harry. Sure glad to see the Koi making a vigorous comeback. Like the light and shadows throughout.

Simply beautiful. I will add this to my favorites and look at it when our koi are under the ice this winter! That's the one thing I hate about winter...not being able to enjoy our beautiful koi...we always long for spring ice-out to make sure everyone is all right.

A beautiful collage of these exotic-looking fish, have never seen any with this type of marble-ling before... fascinating to view them and if you look long enough, by scanning up and down, they almost come alive! great captures, BB

It seems so strange to see them in such clear water, the ones at the Japanese Garden here live in dark murk...wonder what the koi think, and which they prefer? Nice shots!
