You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

You know, I thought what I've been killing are stink bugs, but was I wrong! These little creatures are so beautiful! Thanks for sharing this; excellent shot!

Very impressive macro capture! These little guys are quite shiny in spots. So did you disturb them to enjoy the aroma? ;)

They really are spectacular. I like the ones near the middle with their iridescent 'spots'. Great catches, all!

The zoom really does show up the irraidence of these beautifully coloured little bugs. I love how you have presented this group so that we can see each ones colours. What a shame they emit a nasty smell as they are so beautiful otherwise.

We have stinkbugs here, but nothing as flamboyant as these. They're amazing. I love the colors and the details you bring out! The stinkbugs I know of here are somewhat shield like with tiny little heads...I guess they're not the geniuses of the bug world, but oh well. These are amazing and I am incredibly happy to see them! Wonderful work, and your commentary gave me a good chuckle.

Wow! That is some eye popping colors.

These are weird! I like them. They look like metal beads or some kind of jewelry and that's what is weird about them. Great collage of shots too. I don't know which bunch of little critters I like the most. I like them all.
