Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Beautiful abstract helle.

This is amazing! I love the whole composition in general and your wonderful tweaks to it. The oil-paint texture is stunning and I can see this as a hand-painted abstract hanging in some swanky gallery in Chicago (or Ükür, or Agara, or in Denmark.) It's quite sensitive and beautifully-rendered in every respect. In the 1960s, really literary books often held such art on their covers (I'm particularly reminded of Aldous Huxley's Eyeless in Gaza and Jean-Paul Satre's Age of Reason as such novels, though the art was radically different. It seems that Bantam Books at the time was really interested in combining classic literature with what was then very contemporary artwork, and this reminds me of those earlier reading experiences I had while curled up nice and comfortably with beautiful (though challenging) novels. I love the way your art stirs those memories in me, and evokes those same feelings of wonder. This is fabulous!

A stunner, Helle! A very exciting (and excited)surface, and it makes me want to get back to doing an actual painting on a big borad.

Woo hoo! People love this! They should, it's just terrific Helle. And trust me, my contribution PALES compared to what you did. Like I said to Tara on her image, you took a really crazy blur and made a terrific work of art out of it. (Look out, I may post the original--though it'll show just how good you & Tara are!) And you may have inspired Andrea to do a big painting, and you got Chip to reflect on great book covers. (He's got a fine memory. I remember that time.) This is an abstract, but it also feels like a cave glyph, something from Native America. And then it feels like an etching or carving, and it's organic. So know, when I fav this, I'm not faving 'me': I'm faving YOU. As for my blur having beautiful composition, thank you, but maybe you ate too many peppernuts, lol. (Maybe they're hallucinogenic, lol.) This is a terrific transformation, it deserves the favs, and you & Tara prove that there's nothing an artist can't work with, if they're creative & inventive to start. Love it. Wonderful piece!

I think it's wonderful that we both picked the same blurry photograph to work with. (He'll never throw away another blurry photo! LOL!) I LOVE what you've done with these two images. It has the feel of handmade paper, and the colors and shapes are just wonderful! It's stunning work. I'm going to go back to mine and make a link. :D
