Description

Give this one a ZOOM...you'll like it:-) Many of you have seen pictures of an old car found in a barn that's been the home for chickens, pidgeons, mice, you name it, for years. Tires flat, corrosion, missing parts...a total mess. That's the way this plane was found sometime in the early 1990s. In January 2000, the US Air Force Museum's Restoration Division completed its meticulous restoration of the world's only known Northrop A-17A. This aircraft was delivered brand new to the Army Air Corps in June 1937. The last A-17 was taken off the books in January 1945. I did the same thing with this image as I've recently done with War Prize #1, #2 and #3. Highlighting the aircraft and fading the background (which in actuality is quite busy). For those who love the details, Click Here Thanks a million for all the views, comments and favorites on my last couple of dozen uploads. It provides lots of motivation! Bill:) Trying something new...A big special thanks to Lynell (tennesseecowgirl) for telling me how this is done. HTML of course:-) thumb_1985352.jpg

I love the treatment you did to this old aircraft Bill. By fading the background you bring out all the detail. Fantastic job!!!
