Description
One very common animal in this area is the beaver. Their handiwork can be found around many of the local waterways. Here a family of beaver has dammed a creek North of Juneau, flooding an area of spruce forest down in a draw. Recently a cold snap has converted this beaver pond into an almost surreal Winter wonderland.
