Description

A Holiday dedication to my Brycian and Rendo friends. Synopsis: Toy wooden train, Christmas tree and Christmas decoration balls, gifts and gift ribbons, wall painting, fireplace fire, mantel holly spread and Christmas wreath were modeled in Bryce. Nutcracker Russian soldier, hearth, tied ribbon bows, Christmas lights, rug, wall wood trimmings, fireplace tools, fire screen and log rack modeled in 3DSMax 9. The children were modeled, dressed (but cloths not textured) and posed in Poser 5. Wall painting, Christmas wreath and mantel holly leaf spread are Bryce lattices. Wall painting, toy train, rug and floor textures are from CGTextures.com . The nutcracker texture was created by me using Photoshop CS3 and UVMapper Pro. All other textures created using Bryce, Google and Photoshop. All arrangements, applied texturing, lighting and rendering done in Bryce 5.5. Some post work done in Photoshop. Special thanks for her fresh eye and artistically objective critical advice, my friend and personal critic Ang25…special warmth and loving care to her and her family this holiday season. As a youngster together with my late younger brother we would play around the traditional Christmas tree and our minds would instantly escape into fantasy. Within the glowing, blinking Christmas lights, the pine needles and tree shadows would offer up different magical forested worlds if you peered deeply and long enough into them. They are my special memories of the season.
