Having at last a solid job as the pilot of the "Exact Change Only", aka the ECO. K'lia quickly makes friends with some of the other members of the crew, including the ship's weapons expert, Iiku. After a day of K'Lia training in the simulator and Iiku inspection of the refit of the ship's weapon systems, they decide that what they need is a evening out clubbing so dressing up, they head out to see what they can find, Iiku filling K'Lia in on the local club scene and what to watch out for. The Glisten belt, like any other asteroid belt, star port, space station, or world, has it dangers. K'Lia, herself not innocent of the dangers that lurk out there for the unwary, listens carefully to Iiku, who is familier with the local dangers.
