Description
I guess this is my official Happy New Year image:-) In numerology 2010 is a 3 year (2+0+1+0=3). That means creative power; growth. Three is a moving forward of energy, overcoming duality, expression, manifestation and synthesis. Three is the first number to which the meaning "all" was given. It is The Triad, being the number of the whole as it contains the beginning, a middle and an end. In Greek lore associates lily meaning with birth and it is a symbol for motherhood. To my mind all of this means that 2010 is a very important year. My last image referring to Mother Earth, this confirms in my mind that the time is absolutely the right time to make changes, to become as Mark said to me 'stewards' time to give back, for all that she has given to us. Just a simple thing like picking up a piece of trash not only beautifies but honors her. I don't mean to sound like a preacher, I simply feel we must give our attention now. 2012 predicts the end of our world...I don't believe that but I do believe it will be the end of the world as we know it and it will leave a very different and ugly world for generations to come.

I give you this image in celebration of 2010 but also as a reminder of all that we can lose if there is no change...the light at the center speaks to the light that we all need in our lives. We are the pistols that stand proud before the light. Without change we can't be proud...With this I wish you love, light and a peaceful New Year.

My apologies for lack of comments, because of no help right now at the house I am on my foot more than I am supposed to be and so when finished I am lying down with the foot elevated. I haven't forgotten the love, support and friends who have visited me with that, I will catch up as I can! Thanks for your visit, comments and previous favs.

your image is like an ocean with emerging lights, the bigness & opulence of the flower is swimming behind these stamens, which reach out to us and to the universe. The stamens reaching out feel like the plant itself reaching out for life. It's very affirmative, and very beautiful. I'd heard the symbols of 3 (and know there are many others), but I'd never heard the symbols of the lily. It's extremely affirming & positive. Maybe if that power is tapped now, the predictions for 2012 won't come true---though I've also heard positive predictions for 2010. This is a very affirming upload, the 'answer' to the previous one; and while it's a harsh reality we face, the answer can be very uplifting if we make it so. So your two uploads complete each other, and leave the next step to all of us. In the meantime, you need to rest from all your activity, and probably rest from what you've traveled to put up these images. I'm flattered no end that you mentioned 'me' in your words, but I hope I can simply do my part along with everyone else, in making this come to fruition. I wish you a wonderful new year, lynn, filled with illumination; and I wish you rest for now: Following your call is hard work & I'm sure you need to rest the inner ears & eyes because more calling is sure to follow. This was posted a week ago. I hope you are feeling better. I don't believe in prophecies, but I do believe in cause and effect. I believe totally that we must change our ways for our own sake and for the sake of other living creatures on the bountiful Earth. I also believe in the strength of symbols. Not an intrinsic strength in and of itself, but a strength to lead man into good or evil. These symbols you speak of are for the good. They better our world and I will keep them in mind. Your image is beautiful and perfect for you words. This is wonderful and inspiring work Lynn. I wish you a new year where you see the winds of beneficial change in the world.
