it saddens me today, i had tp put my 20/21 year old friend to rest. she was my friend and 4 legged compainion. i have about 4 images ready to go, was going to post and image with one of monica's bg today, but after the major declining heath of cleo, she had to be taken to the spca to be euthinized. so much for a happy begining to 2010..

Steve this certainly isn't the way one wants to start the new year, so sorry to hear of this news, my heart goes out to you.. She looks like a very beautiful girl, it is unfortunate but at times we have to do what is best for them.. We had a German shepherd that got a wasting disease and had to be put to sleep was so hard as he was only young.. so I know how you are feeling.. I pray that God's peace and comfort be with you at this time of sorrow my friend..

I really hate to take an animal to be euthanized but seeing them suffer is more painful.she was a beautiful cat

Oh my, this is such sad news. I'm so very sorry to hear this. Wow - 20 plus years old. Your kitty lived for a long time. I know you miss her terribly. I have a 15 year old cat and he's been my buddy through thick and thin. I can so relate to what you're going through. Big big hugs to you. Yes, this is a bad way to start out the new year. I hope things get better for you. This is a sweet picture of your lovely friend.

I feel for you. My 17 year old cat (we were not sure about his age because he wandered into our yard when my daughter was in third grade.) passed away in his sleep Dec. 16. It was horrible and I am still crying. I never thought I would lose him or time would pass so fast. Hopefully your kitty will cross the rainbow bridge with mine and wait for us. Hugz, Sherrie

I'm sure she knows the sorrow you feel at loosing her, but she's with you in spirit, always. Remember the years you had together and she'll never be far from you. Ah, Steve my heart crys for you. A few years ago I lost my beautiful torti named Pingo who, like Cleo with you, had lived with me for 19 and a half years. I am so emphathetic to your loss. Here are some words for you. They came from when I was first feeling the loss PIngo.. I hope they help in some small way. Hugs and blessed be. Everything is part of the cosmic energy flow of the universe. We materialize out of that energy flow for a while, live what we call life, die, and then we become part of the big cosmic flow again. But even while that clump of cosmic matter materializes into beings, into us, into all the elements that constitute the world, our friends, family, pets, the trees and flowers we are all still a part of the big flow – just in material form. Since it is all part of the same thing, the same omnipresent being, it is all connected and it is always connected – both through space and through time. This makes me very sad cause on the 28th of Dec. we had to take our 14 year old cat "Studley" and have the same thing done. Your Cleo was very beautiful and my heart is with you. I know that you will never forget her cause she will forever and a day be in your heart.
