Description

We visited the Museum of Glass in Tacoma on a gray, rainy day. The building is dominated by an unusual architectural feature, a giant cone. Entering the building you discover that the cone serves a functional purpose as a chimney for the on-site glass workshop. From the left, street view; inside view of the cone and entrance to the museum. On another note, Andrea (durleybeachbum) made a comment on my previous post Seattle Skyline, http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1998009. It got me thinking and if you would like to play with the image, please have at it. You have my permission. It would be interesting to see if anyone can make something out of it.

I love glass museums and this one looks fascinating! Excellent capture of the architecture inside and out. Beautiful detail in the center picture. Thank you very much for the permission to play with your last picture. It has such wonderful colors, I don't think I'll be able to resist. And tomorrow is Sunday and I'm off work! (Hands rubbed together in joyous anticipation!)

What a cool building. The picture to the right looks like an old Mercury spacecraft. The picture on the left looks like a totally different shape and the inside is absolutely fantastic. Wonderful shots. I can't wait to see what Lucinda does with you fireworks.

Lovely shots. I do not do well with glass and it is best I stay clear of glass anything at all costs. :-)
