"Popular among the McColbe Islanders, were the summer bird egg expeditions to the sandy cliffs of the scattered Depenaidh Isles. After too much of the water of life, some older islanders swore that they had wakened from a nap to see a number of the smal, white faerie deer, pursued by the mastiff Brodhann. At least that was their excuse for breaking a largge number of their collected eggs.."
