Description

Adapted from the Valentine card ( upper is the outside, lower is the inside ) which I sent my wife, this made me think more deeply than I have, for years, about the nature of love. I know that love means so many different things to so many different people, so maybe the sentiments expressed will please no one. I do, however, sincerely hope that you will encounter joy, wonder, and if God wills it, hugs. kisses and romance on the coming day, and the years ahead. The butterflies were to remind my wife of the first card I sent her nearly 40 years ago. It was handmade, painted on heavy, coloured card, protected in a heavyweight, handmade envelope. However it was so heavy and rigid, that my love's dad, suspecting that it was a letter bomb, hastily took it into his garage, sheltered behind his welding shield, and carefully dissected it over a rubber bucket of water... Thus does romance get off to a rocky start... God bless and good night to all, John.
