Description

Everybody needs a kick start at the beginning of a new year and especially on Monday, so I though 'Looking for Wind' might be a good way to begin. A Paddle Steamer is towing a sail ship out of harbour and literally "looking for wind". See my web site HERE. Done in Bryce and Photoshop and dedicated to Novelist. dmrc_enabled_wbtn.gif

Great scene - it's like a painting. I like the softness of it. The tall ship is on her way out to sea, hoping for strong winds. I've been aboard a couple of tall ship - wonderful ships. You captured it perfectly, Peter.

Terrific work Peter. Your works do not come often but they are always so worth the wait. This looks like a Victorian era artist piece with its muted colors and slightly faded appearance. The mixing of the sky with the haze is so well crafted and the image just moves in subtle grades of tones.
