Description
I captured this pano in WalvisBay, Namibia in March last year. It is a lovely vista right by the lagoon and I loved the contrast between the blue-green of the water and the red boathouse and boats! To me the gulls complete the picture!

Very, very nice Carin. The softness of the fog shroud sets the atmosphere for this colorful scene and reminds me of living on the coast of California where the fog rolled out mid-morning and back in during late afternoon. I am also partial to panos when you can get them. Nicely presented.

I come from the land of rising water... I am so fascinated by this shot. It is close to the water, not built up very high. It looks like some sort of driveable surface is right to the waterline and all I can think of is - doesn't the water rise? I minimum of 20 feet up - above that boat house - would be a starting place for building out of flood's way but even then, wind, crashing waves, the ocean's temper tantrums, would take this away year after year. It so lovely though with the gorgeous color of the water and the bright red repeated in it and you are right...the gulls do put the frosting on this cake!

Excellent and colorful image. A bit of a surprise. I had always imagined Walvis Bay was a more primitive place (yes I was the geek in high school who knew where Walvis Bay was).
