Description

BUY THIS CAR! Captured back on 10/27/08, at the 7th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California. Please zoom for greater detail. These shots were taken at the same show as the Golden Knight pics that I previously posted. The backgrounds were gaussian blurred in order to emphasize the main subject matter. Tally-ho, and thankx for stopping by.

You never miss on car shots Harry. Really like the background blurred. Sets the car off nicely...leaving you with a crisp, clear, sharp subject.

That's a real beauty. I doubt that I could afford it, though. Nice pics, I hope you have a few more to share.

agree with Bill, your soft focus of the background sets off the car. With a color like that--bright but delicate all the same--a bright background could eat into the car. The car is beautiful, and you gave us two simple shots, one angled, the other head on, and they're clear, bold, direct, and show off the play & beauty of this old model. It reminds me a little of the car I drew from your gallery: High front, small front window, big front grill, etc. Noble old beasts! You've given us many that are beautiful. Another fine addition to the collection...

When I saw the first one, it made me think of a toy car. I think because of the rich primary colors. I like how you kept the one guy in sharper focus. I love the reflection of the paint on the grill in the second photo. Beautiful capture!

Oh wow - what a gorgeous ride Harry... From the flaming orange and added flames for speed to the two flags flying proud! Wonderful old ride and one I certainly wouldn't mind having!!! :)

At first glance, I thought this was one of those toy cars... then I saw the man and realized it is a real car ;) Nice shots!

Nice. Just as a tip, if you use a wide aperture next time it will save you having to gaussian blur, and will stop the 'blur bleed' around the flags. You will always end up with a far superior bokeh doing it 'in camera' IMHO. . What a beautiful old car.

Harry they are both great shots of this flag waving ford, but it's no Sedan! That soft top makes this fabulous flamed 32 Ford a Phaeton. Love the blurred background it just makes the bottom shot leap out of the screen at you!
