Description

Walking down a new path On this autumn day I could feel the change of the seasons In the air The wind in my face was cool The leaves were all golden brown Geese were singing to the hunters Knowing they were to high to be touched I saw a leaf Break free from this mighty berch tree It fluttered back and forth Side to side Using the wind To dance for the sun A testament that even though the end was near He was free, free indeed Everything he had been through Was behind him now The future although short lived Was glorious And I tilted my head back Did a dance for the sun A testament That I am free, free indeed If you have ever had days where you knew no matter what happened to you in the past it was in the past and although it maybe short lived you are free, free indeed. Then this poem is for you. I am feeling very deep and philosophical today. To all of my friend on rr. You are friends indeed and your art and your friendship helps set me free, free indeed.
