It drives me nuts! I know I am in the minority in this Simpsons loving world, but there it is......so anyway I know precious little about it. I do remember seeing a character called Sideshow Bob...I'm sure you guys will know him! Anyway, this plant reminded me of his hair, so I shall call thee The Sideshow Bob plant!
Zoom is a MUST to really experience it's Sideshowbobness!

Yep! looks good AND there's nothing to be ashamed about! There are a few people who haven't seen the Simpson's. Of course they're in some remote region where they don't have any TV, but hey.... Great photo

That's twice as many times as I've seen them and I DO have a TV!! SO, as far as Sideshow Bob's hair is concerned, I'm clueless. However, I love this anyway--it's beautiful!!

I love the character of Sideshow Bob, whose voice is done by Kelsey Grammer, of course. And the aliens....but that's another story. You are right about this...looks' great.

You might not have been watching them but apparently they've been watching you. I'd swear they modeled one of the characters after you. I don't watch it either so I can't remember which one. Excellent shot by the way! The tone mapping works perfectly on this.

LOL yes very sideshow bobish! and you're not alone, I have only seen two or three episodes, I think I was having one of those waking nightmare moments where you can't move, as much as I tried to reach for the remote control my arm wouldn't move and I ended up breaking out in a cold sweat! eventualy it ended and star trek came on so I was happy once more

A Sideshow Bob Plant...I like it a lot, and the color and succulence of the leaves is wonderful. It reminds me of some kind of aloe vera plant thingy. When I lived in Prague, I saw "SeemSONS" more than I'd seen them in the USA. Czechs don't dub, they subtitle...how odd is is to see a cartoon with subtitles! Anyway, I'm rambling. All I really wanted to say was that this is a great, warm, colorful shot.

I myself am not one for what's known as stupid humor. Whether it the Simpson's, Beavis and butt head or the rest of the dumb down society shows. Yeah, your probably thinking, tell me how you really feel...lol As for the image. Outstanding colors and composition! A very interesting subject. Almost looks to be in the aloe family

Simpsons ... right ... I got nothin'. I've seen parts of it a couple times, but have no idea who this character is. Thanks for posting his "portrait" along with your image for comparison. I can see how you saw him in this tree! Aside from all that ... this is a fantastic capture. Nicely done!
