I must agree with Tara - all your protestations about photography were obviously a ploy to hide the fact that you've been taking photographs all your life, with or without a camera. This is an absolute stunner - light, shade and form that captures the eye and keeps it coming back for more.... (PS your "fully-fledged-photographer" license is in the post)

I hope you had a most wonderful time in Florida. I never seem to want to come back up this way from down there. Maybe becasue we always ggo in winter, and no matter how cold it gets down there, it's still warmer then here. Very great capture.

What an amazing tree, or is it trees entwined within one another! Or are they the roots that have decided to come up and hug the tree trunk, whatever is going on there, it is no less an amazing and beautiful tree and excellent photography. I love the shadows that are created by the low sun in the winter sky, and you captured this perfectly Mark, very well done my friend, hugs Jane xx
