Description
It is such a beautiful night here tonight and I somehow wanted to share it with you. It is comfortably warm with a very light breeze just moving the leaves. I was floating on my back in the pool and just looked up at the stars and decided to play with some images to try and convey the atmosphere! Although the tones in this monochrome is cool, it somehow conveys my message of a beautiful night... I think... *grin*

ps. forgot to say - the image was photographed about 100km from my house and the moon was captured a couple of months ago from my back yard!

A very beautiful image. I think it gets your point across quite nicely. And you were floating in the pool?!? Sometimes I forget that it's summertime there in South Africa. It's winter here in the US. And below freezing here in Florida! It ought to be against the law!!

there are a few of you here (Nikolay's another) who do juxtapositions & manipulations that are works of art. This has a Japanese Print feeling (in the clarity of each section, the bold moon, etc). And it has your signature modulated silvery-blue-gray sky. And the tree reaching from ground to moon is quite beautiful. A simple but complex, brooding vision; a piece of evening that we all know but are hard-put to describe; and the lighting in the sky is beautiful. Another piece of introspective seeing from you...
