Description

I captured this golden grass next to the Vaal River in the Vredefort Dome. I was never happy with the image but tonight I played around with some filters and got a better result! The sky is still too washed out to my liking but at least the grass shows off a little better. Well, I liked it enough to upload - so here we go! Think you get a very good result. heck, I have skies like this at times when in reality they were blue. Sometimes the height of the sun...the angle and all that just conspires against the sky you were hoping for. I like this very much. And don't forget...Tara will be happy to loan you some Seattle skies if you feel a need for them:)

I love the soft blues with those gorgeous browns. The light on the seed heads is beautiful, and it makes a perfect transition point. You may be a little on the picky side here. This is excellent!
