This is so familiar; almost looks like the same fence I saw. I know it's not, because Chicago is full of superb iron work, but you caught it so well. Besides the fence, there's so much more---the brick, the softness of the tree and leaves, and the reflection of the building in the window. Beautiful shot, Mark---- you have a wealth of beauty right outside your door!!

A corking composition! I wonder what the main (blue) structure of the windows is.

When I read the comments of Marilyn, I must admit I couldnt describe it better. Shis capture has it all. Beautiful clarity, iron, leaves, buildings and blue sky. Mark, I just LUV this shot. You did it again. :-D

A beautiful study in color and geometry! That shiny blue is first thing I notice. How can a couple of coats of outdoor paint be that wonderful? But it is... The sharpness of the lines all in diagonal top this for me. The splashes of green accent it and last but not least, the peak of the iron fence is perfectly framed in by the window border, which I might add also shows off some wonderful reflections. I really love it!!

Looks like a wonderful place and another classic example of why your so proud of your beloved city Mark. The pov you chose here really works so well in not just showing off this corner but even more through the reflections

A beautifully seen capture of a diagonal matrix maybe? Let's see...In linear algebra, a diagonal matrix is a square matrix in which the entries outside the main diagonal (↘) are all zero. The diagonal entries themselves may or may not be zero. Wha...? I am already way over my head but I was looking for some unsaid words to apply to this comment. Think I'll skip further explanation and suffice it to say...mighty fine composition and display of more of your wonderful neighborhood details. Great iron work too:)

Oh Mark, there are so many things I like about this image... Well everything actually! The compo is perfect! The little bit of green showing in the top left corner brings a softness. The reflections in the windows gives the image a quality of infinity and the fence is the strong sunject that lends a regal feel to the whole image! Wonderful work indeed my friend!

gorgeous, fascinating work! spectacular POV and I especially like the contrast between the hard, strong iron fence and the hard fragile glass of the window even if the color hue is alike...

Terrific clarity and quite a contrast between the olde iron fence and the modern edifice behind it, in this excellent POV and perspective capture, Mark! The fence looks like it's been painted over many, many times during its long career. Chicage certainly has a plethora of varied structures.

Walls of building, iron of fence, reflections in windows. Everything else to me is background. Those qualities contain the entire world! I stared ... stares ... and stared some more ... stares ... and was speechless for quite some time. Then I swore a little. Stared more. This rocks!
