Description

...and I do my turn on the catwalk ! (and she is already turning heads) *** Well, not quite a catwalk, but the Manly-Corso ! you can take the ferry from Sydney's Circular Quay, next to the Opera House, to Manly beach and voila... *** Prior to owning my first digital camera, I had a cheap little automatic Canon, nothing flash...(but with flash ...hehe) and tried my hand at B&W for the first time ever, so this is a vintage pic and also my first attempt at selective colouring. Cheers *BB*

Great composition on this! A very interesting capture in time, looks like the late 70's perhaps? Great job on the selective colouring, a little more challenging when you are actually having to add the colour here rather than remove a B&W layer mask. Cool shot!

This looks so lovely with the little touch of colour. She really stands out and does look to be posing for you. I hope you get some relief from that sunshine soon, isn't it a shame that it can't be more middle of the range everywhere.

This has a classic feel to it...something of Anne Libowitz, updated and very "Rolling Stone Magazine" in the way it comes across...THAT is a good thing since some of the best photography comes out of specialty magazines that aren't actually dedicated to photography per se! I love the pose, the way you've captured a moment so specifically and then went and treated it with selective coloration, which looks more hand-colored than digitally "remastered." This shot rocks! I love it! It has that "vintage" feel. Very well done!
