You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

I have days like this...all my colour is gone and I feel a bit grey, lucky that background makes up for it on this blues busker ! Another kool Corso capture and dedication for Mr Chip ! Well done & ~Cheers~

Superb job on the color! And a great shot to begin with. Very well done, B!

very cool dedi... the washed out colours and the stark background make for a soulful image...heat of the sun, baking the cement, the skin, the eyes...time to cool down with some chi-town blues.... instant fave!

A lovely capture and I like the colouring you have done to this as it looks very different. I'm glad you got a mouthful of rain to relieve the dry the other day.

I really love what you did with this photo, it looks great. I love his little roll out collection mat there, I hope he got lots of donations.

We used to have zillions of these guys in Chicago...now we have about 3 of them! It's sad, because they were everywhere, playing guitar (or saxaphone, or guitar and harmonica) and just jamming away with their own music--no recordings! Now they're gone...I suspect they all went to Australia, or Eastern Europe! I love the treatment of this photo too...it looks like a poster, only it doesn't have the information on it that tells you what dingy little club he's performing in...that's usually the writing on the bottom, and I could easily see this as "Mr. Bo @ Buddy Guy's Legends, Friday at 8pm" or something like that, and of course, you get there at 7 and the place is already packed! And the performer himself is out in the crowd, pretending not to be the performer everyone is there to see...just enjoying a beer and flirting with some woman in a red dress...there's always a woman in a red dress at such places you know...I think it has something to do with the performer guy's hat and sunglasses and boots. There are usually peanut shells all over the floor (Has that habit spread to OZ?) and you can't walk without making crunchy footsteps. You've sent me on a journey here. I used to see so many guys like this...women too...I actually like the women better, they were more "earthy" and always broke a sweat when they were singing, and most of them were OLD, like Ella Fitzgerald old, but usually more Koko Taylor in stature. This is wonderful and it's a glimpse at a world I miss! Now I know that there's yet ANOTHER reason to visit Oz for a prolonged period of time! This is a wonderful dedication and a fantastic piece of artwork. Like I said before, I love the poster quality of it...like something made in a family-owned print shop where the owner is this old man from "the Old Country" and so the style of the poster is vaguely "Euro-East propaganda" in style, but that's what makes it stick out and what makes it unique! This really rocks, and now I'm way over here wondering what song he's playing! Great work and a touching dedication!

This is really nice post work on a very nice original image! It's so alive, but now I am really curious about this happy dragon behind him! That is so subtle, but I can't take my eyes off of it, the way he's smiling out from behind the performer. This is a rockin' photo!

very nice pov!

not Bo Diddley. He used to live across the street from me in Florida. That man has too much land and money to be doing that LOL. Bo was a great neighbor to me and my wife when we had nothing he gave us food and helped us clear our land. God will surely be in his favor when he goes to heaven. God Bless ya Bo Your old neighbor Tom
