Description
This is the downtown area of Pretoria in South Africa. It is a very hilly city (as is Johannesburg) and the Pretoria Zoo is built against one of these hills. We went up the hill in a cable car to then walk down through the zoo. Obviously this was taken from the top of the hill which gives wonderful views over the city.

Sterling POV, DOF, clarity and contrast (especially in the cloud cover) in this stunner, Carin! If it wasn't for this fortuitous capture, I wouldn't have known that Pretoria has hi-rise buildings.

Oh WOW! WOW! Oooooh, this is one sweet picture! I love the POV you chose...it highlights the beauty of the city and all of that cloud drama happening up on top of it! The whole thing comes together so perfectly and so vividly! This is what a city should be like...well...at least what one should look like! And it looks so warm too! For some reason, this image reminds me of the smell of wisteria...with lilacs in the background. I don't know why but it does. This is great!
