Description

This is Chip (Chipka) looking out the hotel window at some interesting photographic subject or other. He and Corey had come to pick us up on that September Saturday morning in Chicago, and we were all hanging around waiting for Dave and Cheri to arrive. If you aren't familiar with Chip's work, you can visit his gallery HERE. He's amazing!

I love Chip's response: Porkchops with marzipan??? Duuuuude! A whole new cuisine!!! Anyway, I'll end today's session here, because it's yet another wondrous portrait from you. And for those of us who got to meet this extraordinary & deep soul, this portrait is simply beautiful. It captures his introspection, gentleness, thoughtfulness, and openness, often so rare among people with his teeming talent and depth. Amazing how you capture so much in a single portrait. And also: That camera is so small: After viewing his photographs, I think: How does he get such monumental shots from that little thing? And I remember the day too, waiting for D&C&J to arrive. A wonderful portrait. The light is beautiful too...a genuine keepsake.
