Description

Ok quick post today. This is from the Johnny Depp movie they shot in front of our house. For any one who has the movie, our house is about 14 minutes into the movie as they are leaving the bank with the hostages. When they pan down the street to where the cops are coming from. The house on the corner, with the tower is ours. I have been really busy again. Thought things would just be mellow this last week, but I found so much I had to do. I am behind again, but I will be catching up. I dug back into my archive folders and found these to share. The weather had been most uncooperative the past few days. Much Love and peace, Cheri

How cool is THAT??? I haven't seen that movie yet, but if JD is in it, it's got to be good. And now we have something to look out for. Best part is watching it on DVD you can pause at that part where you can see your house!

It was really cool to see our home so prominently displayed for about a minute and a half!! On the other hand, some of the crap we had to put up with during the filming was way more than expected. The took down the phone lines as they weren't period correct, no mail service or garbage pick up for more than a week, and we never even received a warning that things would be so. That at least would've shown some consideration. I'm not bitter about the experience, and it all was rather exciting...I just thought they would've handled things on a bit more personal and communicative level. Free tickets to the premier here in town would've been nice! Regardless,..these are pretty cool shots, and totally unauthorized! My sneaky little ninja vixen!

And I suppose Johnny Depp never so much as came for coffee either---geez, what a bummer! And FYI--you should have been PAID for all that inconvenience, I know that for a fact!!

Great shots Cheri, not good that they took down phone lines and stopped garbage collections, but would have be worth it if you could see the Stars.

How fun! I'm not big into movies, so I haven't seen it, but that's way cool. One day I'll have to watch the first 15 minutes of the movie just to see your house being famous!

All right, you dirty rats, take this...bang-bang-bang-bang-bang! Now hand over the money! Fine sequence depicted in the filming of the John Dillinger movie, Cheri! You even have a streetcar named Desire in this collage. Television has been airing an older J. Dillinger version recently, starring Warren Oates, who's been dead for years, already..

Great collage and interesting subject Cheri! I saw parts of Harry and the Hendersons (Bigfoot) being filmed in Seattle years ago, didn't own a camera then, darn it! I shall have to watch the movies so I can see where you live!
