Captured back on 10/27/08, at the 7th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.

First off, what you see in the title is about all I definitely know about this conveyance. By sheer deduction, I know it's driven in the desert. To save myself any embarrassment, I'll just say that I know about as much about the arcane genre of dune buggies as I do the propulsion systems of alien spacecraft. According to my research, this particular beauty may have been originally manufactured by Volkswagen and is a customized vehicle, especially with those itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny headlights. For further info, check it out on the search engine of your choice.
That said, I suspect the dune buggy mavens -- which may include beachzz -- in the Renderosity audience will appreciate this collage.
Ta-ta, and thankx for clicking on.

Terrific collage Harry! I like the dune buggy's, had a friend who had one and took me for a ride somewhere around Camp Pendleton. Another friend in Chula Vista had one but strictly for a toy! Lol@ the license plate! Really a pretty little thing, saw them a lot in movies but not much on the streets.

Harry...fanciest dune buggy I've ever seen. Another of your highest order collages...super job. P.S. I may be a little scarce for a few days...but I'll drop in as often as I can.

Nifty collage, Harry. That's a real work of art as far as dune buggies go.

The open engine bay well compensate for the tini mini head light. LOL. Great collage and fascinating to see something cool.

LOL, Harry--well, I don't know a whole lot,but I DO know they are tons of fun!! You go places probably not really meant for going, and the ride is like the BEST roller coaster!! My sister had one, so that much I know for sure. Great shots of this buggy!!

"I feel like a king in my buggy".... This reminded me of a Terrence Hill / Bud Spencer movie many, many years ago. The name just slipped my mind but they sang this catching tune.. Great fun buggy Harry and I can do with one when I go to Namibia in 3 weeks time!!!!

I have absolutely no experience of dune buggies, but she's very pretty. I love the reflections of the bars. The last shot is my favorite. What a beautiful and shiny blue and silver conglomeration of metal. And it's so clean! That must take some effort! I love its shadow! Excellent shots!

Very 70's but sooo Kool on the beach, nice series of photos of a BUPA classic (BUPA = beetle under plastic attachment!)

once again, full-size is a must because one sees the reflections & 'music' of the chrome so much better. With Bill, I think this is a 1st rate collage, you've taken us on a kind of journey through this thing, and let us see all its manifestations & oddities. You did good to soften the background (as you do in other car montages) but leave the ground beneath in fuller sharpness. (I'm a big fan of the language of concrete & stone; and it's a nice foil to the buggy, because it's all grit compared to the buggy's sheen and slopes.) And I love how you end with its backside---which I assume is its engine---and all its strange & dazzling parts. This would be a real challenge for me to draw. And what's with those tiny headlights? Are they supposed to be of any use in a desert? Especially after 8 pm? A fascinating multi-faceted collection of a most unusual vehicle, and fun & visually opulent too.
