Description
Captured back on 10/27/08, at the 7th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
Better viewed full size.
Quite a contrast between this big guy and the relatively minuscule Manx dune buggy from yesterday.
The individuals in the top foto lend testimony as to the size of this conveyance. Sorry about the intrusive bicycle. I was thinking of cloning it out but that would have been a mess.
Other than the title, I have no idea what the make, model and year is of this monster. From the emblem on the grille, it could be a Ford. If anyone out there knows, I'd appreciate the info and will insert it into the text.
Anyway, this may be a boys' toy, but I can think of some members of the opposite gender who would proudly love to tool around in this beauty: Carin while in Namibia, Marilyn on her beloved beaches, Lynell in the Smoky Mountains, and Tunde roaring thru the Outback.
Toodles, and thankx for stopping by.
Achtung, achtung! Thanks to my friend, Rose/Rainastorm, who is an expert on the monster truck genre, we now know the identity of this humongous beauty, and have added it to the title. Thanks again, R!

nice HOGG!

The bike helps show the size of this massive vehicle. Very nice pics and collage.

You sure got some excellent shots of this monster. And you got that right I would love to take this beauty for a spin up to some trails in the mountains, would hate to pay the fuel bill though. And I will leave it nice and tidy for the other ladies you mentioned.. :) awesome work, did they rescue that dog that was stuck on the Los Angeles river I believe it was, I saw it today on CNN poor little thing hope he is okay.

OH yeah, I'd LOVE to take this for a spin--nice ride and great shots, Harry!!

Very cool photos, of a very cool truck!

I use my Explorer for adventure but I am sure it would be a blast to drive in the outback on this monster. Wonder how would this track handle the animal collision though, but always can fit a hardy bullbar...lol. Excelent follow up after the fragile looking bugy.

Oh my, these big trucks are quite intimidating! Lovely captures, though!

Well, Rose would know for sure! And on the second picture, left side, there is the hood (I'm using U.S. talk now!) of a Ford Camero....Roses fave car! Great set of pictures.... Boss Hog! Roar!!!!! lol Rob

What a cool truck, fantastic captures O'lboy. I especially like the crop on the second from the bottom!
Rainastorm
Harry this is an excellent truck...I love Monster Jam!! Dennis Anderson and his Grave Digger is the BEST EVER...I got to take my kids to see Truck number 14 back in 2001...totally awesome (I have pictures someplace). My second favorite is Tom Meents who drives Maximunm Destruction(Max D).Boss Hogg here...2004 Ford F-650 from the Lacey family...these guys even use House of Kolor for their paint which is the best paint out there in my opinion. Anyways...here is site link on this truck for anyone who cares. lol And yes Rob, Camaro's are my all time favorite classic car (not so much the newer ones...lol) but its a Chevy not Ford hun sorry. lol AWESOME Shots of Boss here harry!!! http://www.truckinweb.com/features/0506tr_2004_ford_f650/index.html

Most interesting!

Terrific shots! Probably needless to admit that I know nothing about this one either. I like the little boy in the first shot. He seems to be conducting a tour. "And here on the right, we have..." Great POV on the last two images!

I'd like to tool around in one of there day-to-day. First because you have great visibility and second so we could run over people. Very interesting collage Harry...and yes...sharp, clear and well focused:)

Monstrous photos of a high riding Ford clearly demonstrates a lot of hard work by the 'hike them up boys'. Ground clearance? Not and issue with this wild ride!
