Description

Captured back on 10/29/07, at the 6th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California. Zoom in for a better look. There was no ID on this flamer, so I don't know the make, model, or year, but I think it may be a mid-60's Chevrolet, possibly an Impala. Actually, this pic was taken 2-years and 3-months ago, before I began identifying and recording, which was a regrettable oversight, what I was photographing in the vast arena of land vehicles. Needless to say I have learned much since those heady times. Ta-ta, and thankx for the peek.

Yep! My ex had one, candy apple red, dotted with Michigan cancer:-) (rust) He drove us from Flint, Michigan to Washington state and as we pulled in to my grans yard the block blew...Was a pretty car till then and the top down made Sunday drives a wonder. Great captures Harry! A few nice memories too:-)

This takes me back. Front looks like a mid-sixties Impala all right. A pic of the back end would confirm. Nice car, great capture.

Beautiful paintwork and capture! The interior upholstery seems to be picking up color from the car next to it. The dash and the front passenger seat seem to be a pale green.

Without googling, I'd say you've got it right. A mid-60s Impala. Chevy built great lines into their cars in the late 50s and early to mid 60s. You've captured this model very well. Fine display sir!
