And ready to go--love the colors against the darker water and sky.

Oh, this perspective is great. I love that graceful, and even "sexy" downward swoop of the masts. It's aeonautic in that it implies the sweep of a wing...one without feathers, but a wing nonetheless. The colors are sharp and amazingly crisp without being garish and gaudy. What a gorgeous view. I happen to be listening to an oddly ethnic rendition of "All Along the Watchtower" by Bear McCreary as I see this image and it's having a wonderful effect. Image and song have nothing to do with each other, but oh, the sparks of association...I can see grinding guitar metal and sitars and Arabic drums in this...which is a bit odd since the image has noting to do with those things. But it has the same, unexpected grace. It's well seen, well composed, well presented, and this is one of your sharpest works, I think because it combines your natural eye for form and color--something honed in your aircraft photos--but it's not aircraft related at all...I love that! Great work!

Wonderful sky and calm water. The boats have their rain coats on! The first time I have seen covered bays for the power boats! Thanks, Clive

Wow that's my kind of place. Nice shot Bill. I guess it costs extra to park 'under cover'!

This is gorgeous! The water behind the break is dead calm and beautiful. What a perfect day to go down to the marina! I wish I hadn't had to work this afternoon. It's wonderful to see my world through your eyes. I'm sure I have loads of photographs I've taken there, and never posted them because I didn't SEE anything in them. You inspire me to go back through my files and see if there's anything as lovely as this is. Excellent work!

Good pic. Well-sheltered marina with the jetty. Wouldn't want to try sailing a 25-footer out in that narrow water. Most of the outboard motors in view look large enough to have reverse and forward gears.

I see the powerboat owners are all 'fair weather' boaters, they obviously can't get their craft wet from above. This is a super interesting pic, great to compare with our many yacht clubs and marinas in Poole harbour.

Beautiful shot Bill, but you need to get back home, you are missing all the sleet, snow, and ice, and fun here lol, all you get in Seattle is rain.. :) Enjoy your time.

Beautiful ambiance and great perspective in this capture, Bill. Must be a no nonsense military marina master running the show up there with all those boats all neatly moored to the dock in a perfect row. I see the never ending cloud cover is still in effect.
