Description

Don't know if you noticed it or not... the moon was spectacular this evening. It is called the Wolf Moon this month and was the biggest & brightest looking full moon we will have this year. Supposedly, in the Native American culture, the hungry wolves howl at the full moon during these cold winter months. There were no wolves to be seen when I shot this photo a few hours ago. lol We've had some bitter cold here in MN so I added the frost and bite (diffused light and grain) in photoshop. :-) It has been increasingly hard to find time here. For that reason I want to express a heartfelt thank you if you stop in to view and/or comment. God Bless ~ Jodie

Yesssssss I noticed the moon but only because they mentioned it on televison... It was also in the weekly Newspaper that my hubby delivers as well And you know I always have heard wild tales about things going on during the phase of a full moon A lot of it is placed by sheer luck.... Others it can be a night of sheer horror...or sheer satisfaction Our big newspaper called it "Wolf Moon" I often wonder if this is where the term werewolf started from? Excellent presentation and great image Hugs Susna~

Now then, that is one smart looking profound and spiritually based card, Jodie! I do like the frosted effect with the moonlit quasi-silhouetted landscape.
