Description

Valerie Ducom .. she was the most talented photographer, and fractal artist around. Her photography was stunning, her fractals amazing. She lives on in our hearts, is often on my mind, and is greatly missed. This is from her script, Watermark, found at Deviant in the fractal resources section. A little bit of spider's web, barely attached to grasses that we don't see, we just see the web gently swayed by the breeze, warmed by the sun. Soon the spider will come out and begin work reweaving the broken parts of her web. The sky is painted in PSP by me with cloud brushes I've made, the birds are Obsidian Dawn's brushes, and the fractal is Valerie Ducom's Watermark. Framed and signed in PSP. Thank you all for stopping by and leaving your wonderful comments on the previous post, and thank you for the faves. Hope you are all staying warm and safe.

A very unique fractal. I have never seen anything like it. It has the appearance of an ink drawing. Exceptional work, Rita, and a fine dedication!!!!!

Valerie Ducom's gallery remains, but the work was all removed after her death. I'm only grateful that I came to Renderosity a few years before, so I was able to see her awesome work before it all disappeared.

What emotion has arisen in my mind, tears coming to my eyes when I saw those cobwebs and your comment. It was me pou my virtual girl and I have never been attached to someone on the canvas, as with her ... she supported me in difficult times, it helped me, it helped many others. On my site there is a page dedicated to his work. It is being prepared for the party testimony after his death. Ith remind you that the 7 / 06 is the anniversary of his death. So touching, Rita. I never knew her, and I didn't know her work, but I've seen her fans mention her often. It's wonderful that her memory lives on here. Such a caring tribute and I especially appreciate how you incorporated her script into your work. It's a lovely pastel sky, the birds are a great touch. I've always admired the tenacity and artistry of spiders. The webs they weave are so intricate and I love how they catch dew and sunlight. This is lovely. Excellent work as always.
