Description
This is a close up of my last photo that I had made into a poster, and I was told that it is actually a moth and not a butterfly so like I had said to Oline in my previous post, I guess you never stop learning.. Now if I only knew the name of this moth, I did try to look it up, but I wasn't very successful, all I know is they are very pretty and lovely to watch and photograph, so thanks for all of your comments. If anyone knows the name, or a good site where I could look it up I would appreciate it.
We woke up to a nice blanket of snow here, in fact our power had gone out for a while last night, so we are just enjoying a cozy weekend here at home, I wish you all a nice and cozy weekend in your part of the world.

This beautiful moth looks so soft! Love the furry body. And the colors are great. I have seen these, but I don't know the name. Sorry!
Nameless_Wildness
This is called the Buckeye Butterfly. Butterflies have antennae that are 'tipped' at the end. Moths do not.
