Description

Denise spotted these tiny mushrooms lurking under a fern yesterday when we were wandering around the Skagit. I couldn't help but stick my nose in there and peek around!

I really have to catch up when I finally have time and my own internet connection, but I am really happy to see this. It is very rich and it looks warm. Whenever I see ferns though, I expect dinosaurs somewhere. Maybe I watched too much television as a kid. This is a great shot. Great details. I love that rich green color. I'll be catching up later this week so I look forward to seeing a lot more.

Delightful intense, natural colours and a remarkably surreal look.

Excellent shot! In Europe, I would say, Tubaria furfuracea or a similar species.
